Golden Section Modular Home Floor And Roof Frame Plans

The modular home floor frame plan shown below can be used by a carpenter or home builder to construct a single unit modular home. Multiples of the Golden Section (GS), Golden Ratio and Golden Rectangle are designed into the home's exterior walls, and gable end walls below the facia. The length, width and height of the home, allow a crane with slings to lift it onto a flatbed truck, and permit it to be transported to almost any place in North America. The floor frame is designed to sit on a wood or concrete foundation similar to that of a stick built house foundation. The home’s construction features are compliant to the Building Code of British Columbia, Canada and should be acceptable anywhere in North America. The exterior – interior double wall system allows almost one and a half feet of fibre glass heat insulation between the walls. This is about one-half of the amount that will be placed into the exterior walls of the South Pole’s new Amundsen – Scott (U.S.) base when it is completed. Plumbing and wiring are not shown on the diagrams. Good luck with your modular home building.
